Most Pioneer constructions, whatever their size, start life in our workshop, on the north Cornish Coast. This means less time on-site, exposed to the vagaries of the British weather!
We minimise the amount of concrete that is used in a buildings foundations by building on 'pads' rather than concrete slabs. This reduces cost as well as impact on the environment (Cement production accounts for 10% of all carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere).
Crucially, this also means the building is raised from the ground, which can be especially important in low-lying flood prone areas.
