Pioneer EBC has designed and launched a new style of building. These unique Studio Arks provide compact live/work space that is that is both practical, inspiring, portable and affordable.

The design of these new Pioneer buildings are about getting away from the square box, creating something much more interesting and practical. The curved roof and sloped walls were  inspired and are reminiscent of the old showman caravans, but practically this also gives you  more room for a sleeping platform or extra working space. The sloped walls give you  more 'elbow' room where you need it, but Pioneers well known attention to detail   carries through and especially made inserts are supplied with each of the Arks if more flat wall space is required.
 
The Arks are deceptively spacious inside, filled with natural light from the remote controlled window in the roof and need very little heating to keep them warm due to the high levels of insulation and airtightness. As with all of Pioneers Environmental Buildings, the Studio-Arks provide a healthy living or working environment, all the finishes inside are allergy free.

'Its the same as we build all our buildings' said tim 'its the attention to detail thats important' and as the structures 'breath' there is never any moisture or damp problems. Its all about creating healthy environments with minimal running costs.
 
In fact the 'Studio Arks' come in an off grid option. The idea being that an Ark can be placed anywhere and work without mains services. Using a unique rainwater harvesting system and 12v solar power (all lighting is low energy as standard...what else would you expect)  the off grid 'Arks' become self reliant units, able to function as an office/studio or accommodation wherever you want.

Using locally sourced Larch and Cedar timber cladding, green roof options and with various internal finishes available these unique, truly inspiring buildings are a revelation and affordable with a starting price of just £20,000 

It just goes to show what you can do if you think outside the 'box'.
